LOCK THIS DEVICE
Join the movement, one lock at a time 🔒
Before you lock a device of a peer or coworker leave him/her/them a message, hopefully this will trigger them to look after their devices and lock them when leaving them unattended in the future. If your friend or coworker is a sport he/she/they will settle a symbolic 'lock bounty', these can range from a small charitable donation to buying a cake for your pears and coworkers.

THE LOCK JAR
We work a lot from co-working spaces, coffeeshops and (shared) offices, we love it. But we do get sick and tired of telling people to lock their devices when left unattended. Locking your device is easy and we feel we owe it to our coworkers, employers, friends and family to secure the data and access to applications we all share/use.
We have created The Lock Jar to help people that want to make a small but important statement, while keeping the message light and funny. The Lock Jar is a fun way to create awareness for personal and corporate security as it 'forces' people to look after their devices and lock them when left unattended. Next to helping people like you to make a statement it enables companies to set a symbolic bounty on these security threats.
In quite a lot of corporate environments people already set a weird background on your laptop, hide it and/or get you to buy something for the department when leaving it unlocked while walking off for a minute. Using The Lock Jar you can leave a message on somebody's device, set a symbolic bounty and lock it while at it. This way we all up the security levels in an easy and fun way. If your friend or coworker is a sport he/she/they will settle a symolic 'lock bounty' ranging from a small charitable donation to buying a cake for your pears and coworkers. [🧁🍰🎂🥧 are our bounties of choice].
As The Lock Jar was build to create awareness above anything, we hope you like our initiative, use our website, create your own jar and pledge to keep us moving. We offer a range of sponsorship and donation options. Please have a look, every bit helps.
